COVID-19 Policies


We honor and respect the wishes and concerns of our patients, staff, and providers and understand that COVID is still a valid concern for many individuals.  Beginning April 10th, just as with most of the regional hospitals, masks will be optional at Eyesight, with a few exceptions: 

1. If requested by the patient, both the provider and technicians will wear a mask during the exam as well as during any testing.

2. If any patient or staff member has respiratory symptoms, or has been exposed to COVID within 14 days, we will ask that a mask be worn at all times to ensure safety.

While we are excited to be taking this step forward to return to normalcy, it is important that we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone within the practice. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make adjustments to our policies as necessary.  For additional information, here are the latest CDC recommendations: (Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) | CDC). 

We respect individual decision making and any employee or patient who wishes to continue to wear a mask within our offices, are encouraged to do so.
