Dr. Witkin has a special interest in clinical research, particularly in the field of retinal imaging.  He has published more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters, and has presented at more than a dozen national meetings in the field of ophthalmology. Dr. Witkin is available for consultation in all areas of medical and surgical vitreoretinal diseases, including macular degeneration, macular disease, retinal detachment, ocular trauma, cataract complications, diabetic retinopathy, posterior segment uveitis, and retinal vascular disorders.
